Choose a group recorder, and brainstorm a group list of general impacts. Can you imagine possible impacts in every area listed?
Pair up for five minutes in your work groups, and discuss: what effects will these broader impacts have on libraries in particular? New technical possibilities? Unusual demands on staffing? Changes in cataloguing? Different approaches to funding?
Share your pair’s list with the group; create a group list of impacts libraries will face.
